Prehistoric Theme

An expedition feels more exciting when the next discovery is partly hidden. With Prehistoric themed parties and eventsfrom iCatching Events, dinosaur figures emerge from layers of foliage, rocks and scenic entrances, giving guests a setting to explore.

A T rex can command the main display, while Triceratops and Stegosaurus props create further encounters around the venue. Add dinosaur eggs, nests and hatchlings for smaller details that reward a closer look. Our collection includes large statement dinosaurs and baby figures, allowing us to vary the scale of the scenery around your available space.

Camouflage draping, artificial palms and rocky features help create a prehistoric landscape. Lighting can pick out the dinosaurs through the greenery, with sound effects adding atmosphere to an expedition camp setting. For a broader journey through prehistory, a separate Ice Age scene can introduce our mammoth and sabre tooth tiger props.

Our dinosaur prop hire and prehistoric event décor suits children’s dinosaur parties, corporate family days, shopping centre displays and visitor attractions. Choose a single dinosaur for photographs or build a landscape of discoveries, with props, lighting and room dressing coordinated around your event.

At Meadowhall in Sheffield, we created a dinosaur trail with nine scenic displays. At Walkden Town Centre, we transformed an empty retail unit into a dinosaur walkthrough with an Ice Age area and a fossil digging sandpit. That experience supports our bespoke prehistoric event design, from compact party displays to complete visitor attractions.

Your own event can be built around a favourite dinosaur, a discovery trail or an expedition story. We can adapt the scenery for younger visitors, create dramatic focal points for a corporate celebration, or develop a sequence of displays for a shopping centre. Custom prop building gives you scope to include features beyond our existing collection.

Based in Hyde near Manchester, iCatching Events provides dinosaur event hire across the UK, including London and Scotland. Our service can cover concept design, props, foliage, draping, lighting and sound, with delivery, installation, breakdown and collection arranged around your booking.
