Commando Theme

The brief is simple: camouflage the venue, assemble the guests and get the party started. Our Commando themed eventsturn a familiar room into a secret headquarters, with military scenery and imaginative details that introduce the story as guests arrive. It’s a distinctive setting for staff parties, student celebrations and private events with an adventurous streak.

At the entrance, sandbag columns and a guard hut establish the checkpoint. Inside, soldier figures stand beside metal crate props, while green camouflage draping and artificial foliage give the room the feel of a concealed base. A giant Top Secret file adds a playful focal point for photographs and suggests a mission waiting to unfold.

The detail continues onto the tables with hessian dressing and themed centrepieces. Earthy colours and carefully positioned lighting connect the dining area, bar and photo setting, carrying the atmosphere throughout the venue.

With iCatching Events’ military prop hire and Commando party styling, you can create a light-hearted army camp, a jungle headquarters or a setting inspired by action films. Pick the direction, and we’ll help you develop the scenery around it, from the entrance through to the main celebration.

Build your Commando event around the moments that matter: an arrival that gets people talking, a distinctive setting for photographs and space for dinner, entertainment or your planned activities. We’ll help decide where the theming will have the strongest effect, using your venue layout, guest numbers and budget to guide the design.

Our service brings army themed prop hire, venue draping, furniture, table dressing, sound and lighting into one coordinated plan. Book a selection of military props to dress a particular area, or ask iCatching Events to develop the complete setting. Bespoke prop creation gives us scope to incorporate your company identity or build on a specific idea, whether you’re imagining a hidden command post or a colourful interpretation for a fancy dress party.
