Description
Add a cheerful character to your Christmas display with Candy Cane – Dad, a red-and-white striped candy cane figure dressed with a black top hat, bow tie and walking cane. His broad smile, blue eyes and jaunty pose give this festive prop a playful personality, making him a charming addition to Santa’s workshops, Candyland settings and family Christmas events.
The familiar hooked candy cane shape forms the character’s body, with bold red stripes running across a white background. Gold-coloured shoulder details and a gold accent on the bow tie add a decorative touch, while black shoes and a round black base complete the appearance. The combination of traditional Christmas colours and cartoon styling works well in displays designed to appeal to children and adults alike.
For Santa’s grotto décor, Candy Cane – Dad could be positioned beside the entrance or within a festive scene along the approach to Santa. His welcoming expression suits the anticipation and excitement of a grotto visit, adding character to areas between larger scenic features. Surround him with present stacks, Christmas trees and seasonal signage to create a setting with plenty for families to notice as they arrive.
Candyland and gingerbread themes offer another natural home for this Christmas character prop. Pair him with oversized sweets, gingerbread figures and candy cane decorations to build a colourful scene inspired by a make-believe sweet shop or festive village. His black accessories introduce contrast among the brighter decorations, helping his face and costume stand out within a busy arrangement.
Candy Cane – Dad also lends himself to Christmas photo opportunities. Include him beside a themed backdrop, sleigh or group of festive props to give guests a cheerful character to pose alongside. For shopping centre Christmas displays, hotel receptions and visitor attractions, a coordinated arrangement can provide a seasonal focal point that encourages families to pause for a photograph.
At corporate Christmas parties and private celebrations, use the figure to introduce a lighter, more whimsical style of festive event décor. He could greet guests near a reception display, add interest beside a dessert station or form part of the scenery around a Christmas party entrance. Carrying his red, white, black and gold colour palette into nearby decorations helps the display feel connected to the rest of the venue.
The character’s expressive face makes him particularly suited to playful Christmas styling. Keep the surrounding props at varied heights and leave his face and hooked silhouette clearly visible so his personality remains part of the scene.
Candy Cane – Dad is available for nationwide UK hire from iCatching Events. Combine him with complementary Christmas character props, gingerbread scenery, giant presents, festive backdrops and Christmas trees to create a coordinated seasonal display.
